In the higher divisions, Class 6A leads the way with seven out of eight playoff slots filled. Notable contenders include the formidable North Allegheny Tigers, Butler Golden Tornado, Seneca Valley Raiders, and North Hills Indians from Section 1. Meanwhile, Section 2 boasts strong performances by Canon-McMillan Big Macs, Norwin Knights, and Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils. In Class 5A, nine teams have clinched spots, showcasing fierce competition among sections. Highlights include Plum Mustangs, Franklin Regional Panthers, Penn-Trafford Warriors, Bethel Park Black Hawks, Pine-Richland Rams, Fox Chapel Foxes, Thomas Jefferson Jaguars, Baldwin Highlanders, and Montour Spartans.

The lower divisions also exhibit impressive talent. In Class 4A, six teams have earned berths, with West Mifflin Titans, Elizabeth Forward Warriors, Indiana Little Indians, Derry Trojans, Knoch Knights, and Greensburg Salem Golden Lions leading the charge. Class 3A features seven qualified teams, including Riverside Panthers, Ellwood City Wolverines, Mohawk Warriors, Quaker Valley Quakers, Avonworth Antelopes, South Park Eagles, and Waynesburg Central Raiders.
