Opening Matches: St. John's and Niagara
The Bearcats are set to kick off their spring campaign inside the Lane-Starke Tennis Center against St. John's on January 24th and Niagara on January 26th. These early matches provide an opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and build momentum as they prepare for the challenges ahead.The team's performance in these initial contests will set the tone for the rest of the season. It is a chance for the players to gel together and establish a winning mindset. With the longer training week they have had compared to past spring seasons, they are well-prepared to face these opponents.NEC Play Begins: Le Moyne and Saint Francis
After the opening matches, Binghamton will start up Northeast Conference (NEC) play at Le Moyne on January 31st and at home against Saint Francis on February 1st. These conference matches are crucial as they will determine the team's standing within the NEC.The team's recent success in enhancing their games and adding new tools to their toolboxes during the fall season gives them confidence going into NEC play. They are ready to make their mark and compete at a high level against their conference opponents.Road Trips and Away Contests
Binghamton heads out on a five-match roadstand next, facing Colgate on February 2nd, NJIT on February 7th, Monmouth on February 8th, Siena on February 14th, and Bucknell on February 16th. These away games will test the team's resilience and ability to perform on different courts.Following the road trip, the Bearcats come back to Vestal to face Army on February 22nd. This home match provides an opportunity for the fans to support the team and for the players to regain their home-court advantage.The team then embarks on a seven-match roadtrip, visiting Princeton on February 28th, Stonehill and Nichols on March 1st, Bryant on March 2nd, Marist on March 8th, and St. Bonaventure on March 12th. These away contests will expose the team to different playing styles and challenges.Finally, the Bearcats finish up the regular season at home with three straight conference matches against FDU on March 23rd, LIU on April 4th, and Le Moyne on April 11th. These home matches will be crucial in determining their final standing in the NEC.NEC Championship: West Windsor, N.J.
