Brewers' Rising Stars: Four Prospects Shine in Top 101 Rankings
2025-01-14

Four promising talents from the Milwaukee Brewers organization have made their mark on Baseball Prospectus's prestigious Top 101 Prospects list for 2025. These young players are poised to make significant contributions to the team in the coming season, each bringing unique skills and potential.

Among the notable inclusions is infielder Jesus Made, who secured the 35th spot on the list. Despite his young age, Made demonstrated exceptional maturity and prowess during his debut season in the Dominican Summer League (DSL). He showcased remarkable plate discipline, accumulating a high number of walks while maintaining a low strikeout rate. With such an impressive performance, expectations are high for Made to advance rapidly through the minor leagues, potentially starting with the Carolina Mudcats in Low-A.

Catcher Jeferson Quero, ranked 61st, had a challenging 2024 after suffering a serious shoulder injury early in the season. Prior to the setback, Quero was a standout player at Double-A Biloxi, earning accolades for his defensive skills. As he recovers, Quero will begin the 2025 season in Triple-A Nashville, where he will focus on regaining form and proving his readiness for a major league debut. Shortstop Cooper Pratt, ranked 63rd, has shown steady progress since being drafted in 2023. After a series of promotions, Pratt finished the 2024 season with strong offensive and defensive performances. Starting the year in Double-A Biloxi, Pratt will face new challenges that could further solidify his position as a future cornerstone of the Brewers.

Right-handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski rounds out the quartet at 65th place. Known for his explosive fastball and developing curveball, Misiorowski has the tools to succeed at the highest level. Although command issues delayed his big-league debut in 2024, Misiorowski’s talent and arsenal suggest he could be a key addition to the Brewers' pitching staff in 2025. With continued refinement, he is expected to make his MLB debut in the first half of the upcoming season.

The emergence of these four prospects highlights the depth and strength of the Brewers' farm system. Their success not only bodes well for the immediate future but also underscores the organization's commitment to nurturing young talent. As these players develop, they represent the hope and promise of a bright future for the Brewers franchise.
