In a remarkable achievement for the Burns High School football team, junior quarterback Jack Wright and senior linebacker Easton Kemper have been recognized as the top offensive and defensive players in Class 3A. Wright's prowess on the field was undeniable, as he amassed an impressive 2,553 passing yards and 28 touchdowns throughout the 2024 season. His playoff performance was particularly noteworthy, with 939 yards and 10 touchdowns over four crucial games. Meanwhile, Kemper's defensive efforts were equally commendable. He contributed significantly during the postseason, making 32 of his 90 tackles in the playoffs, including an exceptional 9.5 tackles for loss across four playoff matches.
