2024-12-17
Auburn is all set to welcome another World Series as Cayuga Community College and Falcon Park have been chosen to host the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series in 2027. This is a moment of great pride for the local community. The park, which underwent significant renovations in 2018, has transformed into a state-of-the-art facility capable of hosting 2,800 spectators. These renovations not only enhanced the park's infrastructure but also secured its title as the best NJCAA Division III facility by The JBB in August, beating out over 80 other ballparks across the US.

Dr. Brian Durant's Perspective

Dr. Brian Durant, Cayuga Community College President, expressed his excitement about the upcoming World Series. He said, "Cayuga Community College is excited for the NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series to return to Falcon Park in Auburn for 2025 and 2027. Falcon Park is one of the best facilities in junior college baseball, and it was a tremendous experience for all when the Park hosted the 2024 World Series. We appreciate the opportunity to host a premier NJCAA championship, and our College and the City of Auburn are looking forward to welcoming the teams and the NJCAA to our community."
