Baker Mayfield has been on a roll, finishing as the QB9 or higher in 11 of his 15 games this season. That's as many top-10 finishes as Josh Allen and more than Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow. He'll face a Cowboys defense that has allowed seven quarterbacks to score over 20 fantasy points. Caleb Williams, the rookie, has also been a fantasy standout since the Bears fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. He had a QB5 finish against the Lions in Week 12 and is an excellent streaming option against a Detroit defense decimated by injuries. Anthony Richardson, despite his passing struggles, has shown an improved floor since retaking the starting job in Week 11. In Week 16, he should be a QB1 against a Titans defense that has allowed at least 17.7 points to seven of the last nine quarterbacks. On the other hand, Jared Goff's home/road splits are coming into focus. In three starts at Soldier Field since 2021, he has finished as the QB23, QB22, and QB25. Justin Herbert, who was a QB1 for five consecutive weeks, has now fallen to earth, posting ranks of QB30, QB19, and QB17 in his last three games. A tough matchup with the Broncos awaits. C.J. Stroud, the second-year quarterback, has struggled in recent games, finishing as the QB14 or lower in nine of his last 10. Only two quarterbacks have reached 20 fantasy points versus the Chiefs since Week 1, making him an unappealing streaming option.
These quarterback rankings are constantly changing as the week progresses. Be sure to check back on Sunday morning for the final updates.
Bucky Irving has been a standout among rookies, excluding his Week 14 outing when he was clearly injured. He should have a field day against a Cowboys defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs. Jerome Ford is back in the RB2 conversation with Nick Chubb out due to a broken foot. The 25-year-old became just the second running back to surpass 13 half-PPR points against Kansas City and now gets a great matchup against the Bengals, who have ceded the second-most fantasy points to opposing backfields over their last four games. Kendre Miller stepped up when Alvin Kamara left Sunday's game with a groin injury and could be a key RB2 if Kamara can't play. However, the game is on Monday Night Football, and we may not know Kamara's status until game time. Jonathan Taylor, who was expected to be an RB1, has been a disappointment this season, ranking higher than RB4 only once and finishing as the RB22 or lower in four of his last six games. Isiah Pacheco hasn't been as explosive since returning, with fantasy finishes of RB47, RB31, and RB34. He'll face a tough Texans front that has surrendered the fourth-fewest fantasy points to the position this season.
The running back rankings are sure to see some shifts as the week unfolds.
Courtland Sutton, despite back-to-back mediocre performances, could have a big game in Week 16. Since Week 9, only the Falcons have been more generous to wideouts than the Chargers. Brian Thomas Jr. is on a roll, with 10, 12, and 14 targets in the three games since Jacksonville's bye and finishing as a WR2 or better in all three. He should continue his hot streak against a plummeting Raiders defense. Romeo Doubs grabbed two touchdowns against the Seahawks and has now finished as a top-15 wideout in half-PPR formats in three of his last six fully healthy games. With the Saints allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to receivers this season, he's a solid streaming option. Jalen McMillan has garnered 13 targets in his last two games and turned them into nine receptions for 134 and 3 touchdowns. He's a great streaming option against the Cowboys' defense. DK Metcalf, on the other hand, has struggled in recent weeks, ranking as the WR28 or worse in eight of his nine outings since Week 4. With Geno Smith a question mark for Week 16, he could face another tough matchup. Zay Flowers has had some explosive performances but has struggled lately, ranking as the WR31 or lower in five consecutive games. The matchup with the Steelers doesn't help his cause.
The wide receiver rankings are in flux, and it'll be interesting to see how they play out in Week 16.
Brenton Strange has risen to the top of Jacksonville's passing game due to injuries and had 12 targets against the Jets. Since Week 8, Las Vegas has allowed a whopping 20.1 fantasy points per game to tight ends, 4.4 more than the next-closest team. Noah Gray has been a fantasy standout since Week 11, ranking as the TE4 while teammate Travis Kelce is at TE14. The 25-year-old has four red zone touchdowns during that stretch, tied for first among all pass-catchers. The Texans have allowed the third-most fantasy points to tight ends since Week 10, making Gray a viable streaming option. Cade Otton, however, hasn't finished inside the top-10 at tight end when Mike Evans has played this season. In fact, since Tampa's Week 11 bye, he ranks as the TE21 in half-PPR formats.
The tight end rankings are also subject to change as the week progresses.
