The Eastern Michigan University tennis team is gearing up for its final fall event, the 2024 Spartan Invitational hosted by Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. The three-day tournament, set to take place from November 1-3, will feature players from seven schools, including the Eagles and the host Spartans, as well as competitors from Butler, DePaul, Iowa, Northwestern, and Ohio State.

The Eastern Michigan University tennis team boasts a diverse roster, with players hailing from nine different nations, including the United States, Argentina, Czechia, India, Israel, Mexico, North Macedonia, Poland, and Russia. This international representation not only adds to the team's cultural richness but also promises a wealth of talent and experience on the court.The 2024-25 roster features 10 players, including six returnees and four newcomers. At the recent MAC Fall Individuals tournament, freshman Iva Daneva displayed her resilience, coming back from a 0-6, 2-5 deficit to win 0-6, 7-6(14), 6-1 in the opening round. This impressive comeback victory underscores the depth and determination of the Eastern Michigan roster.Additionally, senior Sabina Brichackova has etched her name in the program's history books, recording her 99th and 100th combined wins at the MAC Fall Individuals. Brichackova's achievement marks a significant milestone, as she becomes the first player to reach the century mark in combined wins since the 2017-18 season. Alongside her doubles partner, Prerna Vichare, Brichackova has also climbed the ladder, moving closer to the all-time top 20 in doubles wins with 49 and 48 victories, respectively.

In addition to head coach Ryan Kucera, the team has welcomed two new additions: Masha Polishchuk and Andrew Dobbs.
