In a remarkable display of prowess, Eastern Michigan University's seasoned tennis players Sabina Brichackova and Prerna Vichare have once again been recognized as the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Doubles Team of the Week. This acknowledgment follows their impressive performance in back-to-back victories, marking their second accolade this season. Their relentless determination and skillful play have secured four straight wins at No. 1 doubles, enhancing their legacy at EMU.

This past weekend was particularly memorable for the duo, as they celebrated Senior Weekend with stellar performances. In their matches against Northern Illinois University and another opponent, Brichackova and Vichare showcased their dominance by conceding only two games across both encounters. Their first match saw them triumph over Erika Dimitriev and Nataly Ninova with an impeccable 6-0 victory. On Senior Day, they continued their winning streak with a decisive 6-2 win against Isabella Baker and Tia Clemens, contributing significantly to EMU's overall success.

Throughout their collegiate careers, Brichackova and Vichare have established themselves as formidable forces on the court. With a combined total of 44 victories, their partnership has set high standards in collegiate tennis. Notably, Brichackova ranks 16th all-time at EMU with 62 career doubles wins, while Vichare ties for 19th place with 60 wins, making her one of only 20 Eagles to achieve such a milestone.
