Beyond his on-field expertise, Dunbar has significantly contributed to youth development by founding Breakthrough Elite Football. This organization offers various platforms such as camps, clinics, leagues, and showcases for aspiring football players during off-seasons, making it the largest amateur football network in New England. Dunbar's appointment marks a transition from Elliot Moffie, who previously helmed the football program. Portsmouth Abbey competes within the Evergreen League of the New England Prep School Athletic Conference.
