Quarterback

Jameis Winston, Cleveland Browns (Rostered in 19.9% of leagues on ESPN)In this week's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been tough on quarterbacks, Winston completed 24 of 41 passes for 212 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Despite the challenging circumstances, he still managed a respectable 17.2 fantasy points, which is better than what most quarterbacks achieve against the Steelers' defense. Since taking over as the Browns' starter in Week 8, Winston has averaged 21.8 PPR points per game, ranking fifth among quarterbacks. The only other quarterback in the top 18 of fantasy points and available in at least 50% of leagues is Matthew Stafford. Although Stafford looked great against the Buffalo Bills defense on Sunday, his remaining matchups during the fantasy season are not favorable. The Browns have tough games ahead against the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Miami Dolphins in their next three contests. They will likely need to rely on the passing game in the first two games and face defenses ranked in the top 10 for preventing fantasy points. However, Winston is a very likely top-12 fantasy quarterback in those first two games. Even against the Dolphins' strong defense, there is a possibility of starting him in fantasy.Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers (4.3%)Young had a decent game against the Philadelphia Eagles, completing 19 of 34 passes for 191 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He also added 29 rushing yards on seven carries. Given that this was the worst matchup left on the Panthers' schedule during the fantasy season, better performances are expected in the coming weeks.Young will face the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the next three weeks. The Cowboys have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, and Young scored 23.6 fantasy points against the Buccaneers in Week 13. Even if he doesn't perform as well in Week 17, he can still be a fantasy starter that week. Young is a viable option for fantasy managers who are in need of a quarterback. Among the other available quarterbacks with a strong schedule, they were among the worst in Week 14. Young stands out as the most consistent among this group.

Running Back

Sincere McCormick, Las Vegas Raiders (11.2%)This former practice squad player has emerged as the Raiders' clear top running back this season. He has shown great potential and consistency on the field. With his ability to gain yards and score touchdowns, McCormick has become a valuable asset for the Raiders' offense. His performance this season has been impressive, and he continues to be a key player to watch on the waiver wire.In addition to his rushing ability, McCormick also brings value in the passing game. He has shown good hands and has been able to contribute in that aspect as well. With the Raiders' offense looking to establish a strong running game, McCormick is in a prime position to continue his success. Fantasy managers should consider adding him to their teams to boost their running back depth.
