Mastering Week 15 Fantasy Football with Expert Insights

Sleepers

Zach Ertz (TE – WAS): The Saints have been more lenient with tight end targets recently. With the Commanders fighting for a wildcard spot, Ertz is likely to be a key part of their short-passing attack. He has averaged around seven targets, five catches, and 40 yards over the past month and has scored in three consecutive games. If you've been streaming tight ends, Ertz could be a solid addition.

Xavier Legette (WR – CAR): Despite a costly drop last Sunday, Legette has shown promise with seven end zone targets since Week 4. He has the third biggest receiver expected touchdown shortfall since Week 10 and is a good bet for some positive touchdown regression starting in Week 15.

Isaiah Davis (RB – NYJ): Davis has been emerging, with six targets and 10 carries in the past two games. He has scored in two consecutive weeks and is set to face the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, providing a good opportunity for him to continue his upward trajectory.

Devaughn Vele (WR – DEN): While he had a dud in Week 13, his finishes in the three weeks prior were WR19, WR39, and WR24. Against an average Indianapolis Colts defense after a bye week, Vele should be able to produce in fantasy again.

Ray-Ray McCloud (WR – ATL): McCloud has been on a roll, with season highs for the second straight game. He caught eight passes for 98 yards on 11 targets last week and has 90-plus yards in two straight games. With a tough matchup against the Raiders, he still has good spot start value.

Sean Tucker (RB – TB): Pending the health of Bucky Irving, Tucker could be a must-play. If Irving is out, Tucker would step up as the RB2 behind Rashaad White. He averaged 15.7 yards on three carries last week and sees goal-line work in normal circumstances.

Hunter Henry (TE – NE): As a veteran, Henry leads the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Rookie QB Drake Mayer has been targeting him frequently, making him a solid plug-and-play sleeper for your Week 15 playoff matchup.

Patrick Taylor (RB – SF): With Isaac Guerendo's foot sprain, Taylor could slide into lead-back work for a 49ers team expected to score well. His potential to contribute makes him a player to watch.

Chop Robinson (LB – MIA): Robinson faces a great opportunity against the Houston offensive line. With CJ Stroud being one of the most sacked quarterbacks and the Texans running the ball in a specific way, Robinson has a chance to make an impact.

Duds

James Cook (RB – BUF): The Lions have been tough against the run, especially zone-blocking schemes. Buffalo uses Ty Johnson more in passing situations, and Josh Allen's scrambling ability limits Cook's outlook. With the Lions playing a lot of man coverage, Cook may not be a reliable option in the fantasy playoffs.

Tony Pollard (RB – TEN): Pollard has been sharing carries with Tyjae Spears, and facing a tough Bengals defense that ranks sixth in offensive DVOA and points scored may make it difficult for him to reach 10 carries this Sunday.

Tee Higgins (WR – CIN): Higgins has been inconsistent this season, with three games inside the top 12 but also finishing outside the top 50 WRs twice. Against a very good Titans pass defense, he may struggle again.

Alvin Kamara (RB – NO): With the Saints without Derek Carr, Kamara's role may be limited. The Washington defense is likely to key in on him, making his outlook for Week 15 less than ideal.

A.J. Brown (WR – PHI): The Eagles are using Saquon Barkley more and Jalen Hurts is throwing less. Brown's production has slowed, and a tough matchup against Pittsburgh doesn't bode well for him this week.

Jonathan Taylor (RB – IND): The Indianapolis Colts have had a disappointing season, and Taylor's performance has been affected by QB Anthony Richardson's hyper-mobility. A tough matchup against the Denver defense makes him a bench option.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB – NYG): Tracy draws a tough Ravens rush defense that allows few yards per game and has limited big runs. This presents a challenge for his fantasy production.

Fred Warner (LB – SF): Warner started hot but has been playing through an ankle fracture, affecting his fantasy production. The Rams are a team that attacks through the air, and Warner may not have a phenomenal game this week.
