Kibble's impressive track record includes leading the Patriot League with 720 reception yards last season, while Rufo excelled with a team-high 83 tackles. Their leadership qualities and dedication to teamwork align perfectly with the university’s values, making them ideal choices to guide the team forward.

Jimmy Kibble: A Rising Star in Wide Receiver Role

Jimmy Kibble has become an integral part of Georgetown's offense, consistently delivering strong performances on the field. His ability to make crucial catches under pressure has set him apart from his peers. Over the past few seasons, Kibble has steadily climbed the ranks in the Georgetown record books, accumulating significant career statistics. With multiple league honors already under his belt, he continues to showcase his talent and commitment to excellence.

Beyond his accomplishments in the latest season, where he led the Patriot League with 720 reception yards, Kibble has also contributed significantly throughout his college career. As a sophomore, he recorded 33 catches totaling 753 yards and eight touchdowns. Notably, during the 2023 season, he set a program record with a 95-yard reception that helped secure a vital victory against Bucknell. Additionally, Kibble's impact extends beyond offensive plays; he returned one punt for a touchdown in a decisive game against Marist. His consistent contributions and academic achievements reflect his well-rounded development as a student-athlete.

GianCarlo Rufo: Defensive Anchor and Scholar-Athlete

GianCarlo Rufo has emerged as a formidable force on the defensive side of the ball, showcasing his skills through consistent playmaking abilities. Last year, he led the team with 83 tackles, demonstrating remarkable athleticism and strategic awareness. His versatility allows him to contribute not only defensively but also in special teams situations, enhancing his overall value to the squad. Recognized for his efforts, Rufo earned several weekly awards and was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team.

Rufo’s journey at Georgetown highlights his rapid progression as both a player and scholar. During his freshman year, he played in 10 games and accumulated 38 tackles, establishing himself as a reliable presence early in his career. In addition to his athletic prowess, Rufo has garnered recognition for his academic excellence, receiving multiple honors including selections to the Patriot League Academic All-League Team and CSC Academic All-District Team. These achievements underscore his dual commitment to excelling both in the classroom and on the field, setting a commendable example for his teammates.
