On a remarkable Sunday in April, the Gustavus women's tennis team achieved an impressive feat by securing four victories without losing a single set. Playing against St. Olaf, Saint Benedict, UW-River Falls, and UW-Stout, the Gusties showcased their prowess on the court, remaining undefeated in MIAC play. This achievement marked the first time since the 2009-10 season that the team had won four matches in one day.
In the heart of spring, amidst blooming flowers and warming weather, the Gustavus Adolphus College women's tennis team made history. On April 13th, at their home base in Saint Peter, Minnesota, they faced off against formidable opponents. Their journey began early in the morning against St. Olaf College. The Gusties swept all nine matches, with standout performances from Karina Elvestrom and Kaya De Bruijn, who secured an 8-1 victory in doubles play. Singles matches saw Brooke Haddorff and De Bruijn delivering decisive wins, maintaining the team's momentum.
