On March 15, the Gustavus women's tennis team showcased their dominance in a home match against Luther College at the Swanson Tennis Center. Ranked 23rd nationally, the Gusties secured a clean sweep with a 7-0 victory over their opponents. This win highlights the team's impressive performance both in doubles and singles matches, demonstrating their strategic prowess and athletic skill.

The Gusties began the match strongly by securing the doubles point. Teams led by Kaya De Bruijn and Molly Austin triumphed with a decisive 6-1 victory over Luther's top duo. Following closely, Brooke Haddorff and Pavla Yakimova clinched another crucial win with a 6-3 scoreline at the No. 3 position. These early successes set the tone for an overwhelming performance.

In the singles segment, Gustavus maintained their momentum. Each player delivered stellar performances, sweeping all six matches in straight sets. Notably, De Bruijn and Ella De Young each achieved flawless 6-0 victories, while Lanie Davis and Maya Brakhage exhibited strong form with convincing wins of their own.
