Harvard University baseball is all set to embark on an exciting 2025 schedule. Bill Decker, the Joseph J. O’Donnell ’67 Head Coach, has announced a series of games that will take the team across different states and involve intense Ivy League competitions. This schedule holds great promise for the Crimson team.

Road Trips and Non-League Play

The Crimson kicks off its 2025 season with three games at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina. They face Fordham on Feb. 21, Northwestern on Feb. 22, and Indiana on Feb. 23. This sets the tone for their southern adventures. Remaining in the South, they play a three-game series against Michigan State from Feb. 28 to Mar. 2 at Fluor Field in Greenville, South Carolina. After that, they travel to perennial SEC contender and 2024 Men’s College World Series participant, the University of Florida, for a three-game set from Mar. 7-9. These road trips will test the team's skills and endurance.In the Northeast, Harvard makes its debut with a three-game series at Northeastern from Mar. 15-16 and then plays at Bryant on Mar. 18. These games give the team a chance to showcase their talent in different regions.

Ivy League Action

The Crimson opens Ivy League play with a three-game series at Penn from Mar. 22-23. This is a significant milestone as it marks their first Ivy series at Penn. After that, they host Holy Cross in their home opener on Mar. 25 and then host Yale for a three-game series from Mar. 29-30. These home games are crucial for building momentum and fan support.Following a semifinal matchup in The Baseball Beanpot with Massachusetts on Apr. 1, Harvard plays a three-game set at Dartmouth from Apr. 5-6. Then, they play their next seven games at home with a three-game series against Princeton from Apr. 12-13, a mid-week matchup with Stonehill on Apr. 15, and a three-game set with Cornell from Apr. 19-20.Closing out the regular season, the Crimson competes at Brown from Apr. 26-27, in the championship round of The Baseball Beanpot on Apr. 29, and in their final home series of the season against Columbia from May 3-4.The Ivy League Tournament will feature four teams for the third straight year in 2025. The top four teams in the conference will play at the No. 1 seed from May 16-19. The tournament follows the format used at the NCAA regionals, and the winner earns the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.The 2025 NCAA Baseball Championship will begin with regional play from May 30 to June 2, followed by super regionals from June 6-9 and the Men’s College World Series from June 13-23. The NCAA will announce the field on May 26.
