Facing Strong Competition in Early Season

In preparation for another successful year, the Harvard men’s tennis team will kick off their season with a series of tough matches. The Crimson will travel to face formidable opponents like Duke and NC State in January, followed by hosting the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Murr Center. This event will bring in notable teams such as Georgia, Texas A&M, and UCLA, providing valuable opportunities to showcase their skills on home ground.

Following these initial challenges, the Crimson will venture into the Midwest to compete against Northwestern and Michigan before returning to Cambridge. February and March will see Harvard welcoming several non-conference teams to the Murr Center, including double-headers with Louisville and Boston University, as well as Middle Tennessee State and Quinnipiac. These matches will serve as crucial preparation for the Ivy League season ahead. Additionally, the team will travel west to face strong California-based opponents like San Diego State, University of San Diego, and UC Irvine.
