Cameron Parker led Old Forge with 21 points, while Logan Fanning contributed 13, propelling the team to a decisive 60-46 victory. Despite Luke Kopetchny's valiant effort, scoring 22 points including two three-pointers, Wyoming Area could not overcome the formidable defense of Old Forge. This win secures Old Forge’s place in Sunday’s final, where they will face Northwest Area.
At the same tournament venue, Northwest Area faced off against Pittston Area in a closely contested game. Ryan Miner shone brightly with a team-high 16 points, complemented by Josh Miner's 12 points. In the Central Valley Roundball Holiday Classic, Uniontown overcame Abington Heights 63-54. Despite Jordan Shaffer’s impressive 26 points and Robby Lucas’ 14 points for Abington Heights, the team could not secure the win. Uniontown’s solid defense and strategic plays ensured their victory.
