Bloomington, Indiana has been buzzing with excitement as the Indiana women's basketball nonconference schedule unfolds. Once considered to have filler games surrounding the highlights of a visit from Stanford on Nov. 17 and a trip to Battle 4 Atlantis, the Hoosiers are now facing a different reality. Many of their other nonconference opponents have proven to be quite formidable. One such team is Bellarmine, which arrives at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday with an impressive 9-2 record after winning six in a row.

Impressive Credentials of Bellarmine

Bellarmine was just 10-19 in the previous season but has made a remarkable turnaround. They are a high-scoring team, averaging 76.9 points per game and are adept at outside shooting. The Knights rank 51st nationally in 3-point makes per game with 8 and 52nd in 3-point percentage at 35.2%. This shooting prowess makes them a tough opponent for any team.The team's guards are led by G-F Hayley Harrison with 15.9 points per game and 4.3 rebounds. Hope Sivori follows closely with 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. Erin Toller also contributes 11.1 points and 2.9 rebounds. The forwards/centers are no slouches either, with Skylar Treadwell averaging 8.6 points and 7.1 rebounds. Hana Abdel Aal adds 5.1 points and 4 rebounds.
