Other horses also made significant strides in preparation for the upcoming season. Authentic Gallop, trained by Tom Amoss, worked four furlongs in 49.2 seconds at Fair Grounds, ranking as the 13th fastest out of 67 horses over the same distance. This Authentic colt recently broke his maiden status in his fifth attempt, winning a race at Oaklawn on December 13th. Meanwhile, Burning Glory, another Into Mischief colt under Bill Mott's supervision, covered five furlongs in 1:03.8 at Payson Park, placing him 13th fastest among 14 horses. His last victory was a maiden race at Churchill Downs on December 1st. Additionally, Coal Battle, trained by Lonnie Briley, completed four furlongs in 52.2 seconds at Delta Downs, marking his first workout since winning the Smarty Jones race at Oaklawn on January 4th.

The recent workouts highlight the rigorous training and dedication of these young thoroughbreds and their trainers.
