They secured a decisive 15-3 victory over Jurupa Hill in the second round on November 8th, followed by a hard-fought 11-7 win against Westminster in the quarterfinals on November 11th. In the semifinals, the Sharks faced Godinez, tying 9-9 but ultimately advancing due to a superior game tally of 77-69. The final showdown against Magnolia was equally intense, ending in a dramatic tie that was resolved in Malibu's favor with a game count of 83-77.
Head coach Joyce Stickney emphasized the importance of teamwork during this challenging season. "Even when players lost sets, every point mattered," she explained.
