Mizzou Tigers Primed for Thrilling 2025 Season

Conquering the Puerto Rico Challenge

The Tigers' 2025 season will kick off with a groundbreaking venture, as they embark on their first-ever season-opening trip beyond the continental United States. The team will participate in the Puerto Rico Challenge (Feb. 14-16) at Yldefonso Solá Morales Stadium in Caguas, Puerto Rico, where they will face off against Penn State, UConn, and Stetson. This international showcase will set the tone for the Tigers' highly competitive regular-season schedule.

Navigating a Gauntlet of NCAA Tournament Teams

Mizzou's regular-season slate will consist of 55 total games, with 29 home contests and 26 away or neutral-site matchups. The Tigers will face a daunting challenge, as they are set to take on at least 33 games against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams. This includes four home series against Southeastern Conference opponents who made postseason appearances last spring, ensuring that the Tigers will be battle-tested throughout the season.

Embracing the SEC Showdown

The Tigers' 13th SEC season will begin with a crucial road trip to Baton Rouge, where they will take on LSU (March 14-16). This will be the first of many conference clashes, as Mizzou will also host Ole Miss (March 21-23) and welcome new league foe Texas (March 28-30) to Taylor Stadium. The annual baseball version of the Braggin' Rights against Illinois (March 25) will also be a highlight of the Tigers' March schedule.

Navigating a Challenging April Slate

As the calendar turns to April, the Tigers will face a grueling seven-game road trip, beginning with an SEC series against Arkansas (April 4-6) in Fayetteville, followed by a visit to SIU Edwardsville (April 8) and a three-game conference set with Florida (April 10-12) in Gainesville. Upon their return to Columbia, Mizzou will host in-state rival Missouri State (April 15) and welcome Oklahoma (April 17-19) for an SEC home set.

Closing Strong in May

The Tigers will conclude the regular season with a pair of May SEC home series against Georgia (May 2-4) and Mississippi State (May 15-17), as well as a home return date with Kansas (May 6). Their final league road set will take them to College Station to face Texas A&M (May 9-11). The 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament, which will feature all 16 conference teams, is set to take place in Hoover, Ala. (May 20-25), providing a thrilling conclusion to the Tigers' campaign.
