Unveiling NC State Baseball's 2025 Season Schedule
Opening Day and Early Season Contests
The Wolfpack's 2025 season kicks off on February 14 when they welcome Fordham for a three-game series at The Doak. This sets the tone for an exciting start to the year. After that, they host Liberty in the first midweek of the season. Then, it's off to Jacksonville, Florida, for the Jacksonville Classic from February 21 to 23, where they will face off against Ohio State, Alabama, and Coastal Carolina. These early contests will test the team's mettle and give them a chance to showcase their skills.Returning home from Florida, the Wolfpack will take on Richmond on February 25 and host Canisius from February 28 to March 2. This home stand provides an opportunity for the fans to come out and support the team. After a quick trip to Greensboro to face UNCG on March 4th, the Wolfpack will have an eight-game home stand beginning with Campbell on March 5th. This stretch includes matchups against Wright State from March 7 to 9 and NC A&T on March 11. The homestand will conclude with the Wolfpack opening ACC play against Virginia Tech from March 14 to 16.
Mid-Season Road Trips and Home Stands
The Wolfpack travels to Kannapolis on Tuesday, March 18th, in a rematch of a 2023 meeting with Davidson. This road trip adds another layer of excitement to the schedule. NC State's first ACC road series sends them to Pittsburgh for a three-game set at Pitt from March 28 to 30. Before heading back to Doak Field, they have a midweek matchup against USC Upstate on March 25. Then, it's down Tobacco Road to take on Duke from March 28 to 30.April begins with four straight home games, starting with UNCG on April 1 and then Virginia coming to Raleigh from April 4 to 6. On Tuesday, April 8th, NC State will face ECU in Greenville before welcoming Louisville for a conference three-game set from April 11 to 13. These home games will be a great opportunity for the team to build momentum and gain confidence.
West Coast Adventure and Late Season Road Games
Having only met once in program history, the Wolfpack will travel to the West Coast and take on new ACC member California for a series from Thursday, April 17th, through Saturday, April 19th. This trip to the West Coast is a unique experience for the team and fans alike.To close out the month of April, it's the Wolfpack playing hosts to ECU on April 22, Clemson from April 24 to 25, and UNCW on April 29. These home games will provide a fitting end to April. Seven straight road games open in the final month of the regular season. The Pack will take on Miami from May 2 to 4, rematch UNCW in a midweek clash on May 6th, and take on rival UNC in Chapel Hill from May 9 to 11. These road games will be intense battles as the team fights for a strong finish to the regular season.
Final Weekend at Doak Field
The final weekend of the regular season will be played at the Doak against Stanford, beginning on Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. and concluding with senior day on Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. This is a special time for the seniors and a chance for them to shine in front of their home crowd.The 2025 ACC Tournament will be held in Durham, N.C., at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The tournament begins on May 20 and spans to May 25. This is another exciting event for the NC State baseball team and fans.
