Notably, in the Final Four against Auburn, his composure led him to nail three crucial free throws with mere seconds on the clock, securing UVA's spot in the championship game. He further solidified his legacy by scoring 24 points in the national championship match against Texas Tech, earning recognition as the Most Outstanding Player in the Final Four. Twice honored as First-Team All-ACC and recognized as a Third-Team All-American, Guy concluded his college career as one of the most celebrated players in UVA history.
