A local legend with a storied career, Swearingen graduated from Pueblo East High School in 1984 and has extensive coaching experience spanning multiple schools in the region. His journey includes stints at Centennial (1987-2002), Pueblo West (2004-2012), Pueblo Central (2017), and most recently Pueblo County (2022-2024). Beyond coaching, Swearingen served 24 years in law enforcement and currently works at Colorado State Hospital. With his motto of "Get Better Every Day," he aims to restore pride and build a winning culture at Centennial.
