Flagler College stands at the top of the rankings for the second consecutive year, following their impressive performance in the 2024 NCAA National Championship match. The Saints secured their first-ever PBC Tournament title by maintaining an undefeated record in conference play, earning them the regular-season championship. Entering the 2025 spring season, Flagler is ranked second nationally. Columbus State follows closely behind in the coaches' poll and holds the fifth position in the ITA preseason national poll. Other notable contenders include Lander, North Georgia, Augusta, and Georgia College & State University.

Flagler's dominance in the coaches' poll reflects their exceptional achievements from the previous season. After clinching the PBC Tournament crown, the Saints have set high expectations for the upcoming year. Columbus State, ranked second in the coaches' poll, boasts a strong roster with players like Camilo Cano and Thomas Cardona, who excelled in both singles and doubles play. Cano, a junior from Colombia, finished the 2024 season with an impressive singles record and contributed significantly to the team's success. Meanwhile, senior Thomas Cardona, also from Colombia, was recognized as a first-team All-Conference player for his outstanding singles performance.

Lander, positioned third in the poll, brings a competitive edge to the conference. Noteworthy players such as Enzo Garutti from Brazil, who was named the 2023 PBC Freshman of the Year, will be pivotal in their campaign. Garutti's singles prowess earned him a first-team All-Conference selection last year. Additionally, Daniel Hammond from New Zealand, currently ranked 19th in singles by the ITA, adds further strength to Columbus State's lineup. Hammond's performances in both singles and doubles have been commendable, including reaching the ITA Cup semifinals in doubles.

Flagler's roster includes standout athletes like Simon Malis, a sophomore from the Czech Republic, who was honored as the 2024 PBC Freshman of the Year. Baptiste Mercier, a senior from France, was co-Player of the Year and an ITA All-American, contributing significantly to Flagler's victories with his stellar performances in singles and doubles.
