In Week 7, Part 2, if you saved your transactions, targeting teams playing in the NBA Cup is a smart move. The eight participants (ATL, MIL, NYK, ORL, OKC, GSW, HOU, DAL) will play on Tuesday or Wednesday. The winning teams will advance to Saturday's two-game slate, while the losing teams play on Sunday's seven-game slate. By picking the right teams and players, you can maximize your transactions and get more games on a lighter slate.
Several teams play only one game over the next seven days, including the 76ers, Bulls, Cavaliers, Clippers, Heat, Hornets, Jazz, Kings, Nets, Nuggets, and Pistons. It's important to keep an eye on these teams and their players.
Tari Eason (if back), Lu Dort, Cason Wallace, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Buddy Hield, De’Andre Hunter, Zaccharie Risacher, Taurean Prince, Gary Trent Jr., Wendell Carter Jr., and Quentin Grimes are players to target from NBA Cup teams with less than 50% rostered. Miles McBride (19% rostered) from the New York Knicks is also a must-add. As the top option off the bench, he's been efficient and productive, averaging 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two 3s per game in 25 minutes. The Knicks have the potential to play three games this week, giving McBride an edge.
Ayo Dosunmu (41% rostered) from the Chicago Bulls has been playing phenomenally well. He posted his first triple-double last week and has provided second-round value in 9-cat leagues. With the trade deadline approaching, Dosunmu is likely to benefit. Royce O'Neale (27% rostered) from the Phoenix Suns is another good option. With Kevin Durant out (ankle), O'Neale is averaging 11 points, six rebounds, 2.6 3s, and 1.8 stocks per game. He had a career-best 23 points on Saturday and is a great streamer in points and 9-cat leagues. Grayson Allen (19% rostered) is also a viable choice.
Brandon Boston Jr. (18% rostered) from the New Orleans Pelicans gets a boost with Brandon Ingram (ankle) out. His minutes have fluctuated but he's averaging 14 points with rebounds, steals, and 3-pointers. His role is secure in the rotation, making him a good option for fantasy managers. Obi Toppin (9% rostered) from the Indiana Pacers is shaping up to be a nice streamer. He's seen at least 20 minutes in four of his last five games and is averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 3s per game.
Julian Champagnie (27% rostered) from the San Antonio Spurs dropped a career-best 30 points with six 3s on Saturday and continues to help fantasy managers in points, 3s, and rebounds.

In Week 7, notable injuries include Evan Mobley spraining his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Heat and not returning. Georges Niang filled in for him, finishing with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 31 minutes. Draymond Green came off the bench in the last two games for the Warriors in favor of Jonathan Kuminga. Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney are fortifying the frontcourt. Steve Kerr inserted Gary Payton II into the starting unit, and Buddy Hield stepped in for Wiggins (ankle) on Sunday. Joel Embiid is back for the Philadelphia 76ers, so Guerschon Yabusele and Andre Drummond can be dropped. The Washington Wizards have an extensive injury report with Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring), Kyle Kuzma (rib), Kyshawn George (ankle), Corey Kispert (ankle), and Alex Sarr (back) all missing Sunday's contest. Bub Carrington can be streamed with Brogdon out, and Marvin Bagley III is a possibility in deep leagues.
