This performance, faster than any other horse at the same distance on Monday, underscores his potential. Despite not being a top pick in the latest Kentucky Derby Future Wager, Poster's undefeated record and Grade 2 victory in the Remsen Stakes make him a dark horse contender. Meanwhile, Coal Battle, trained by Lonnie Briley, worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Oaklawn. Although his time was not the fastest, it marked his first workout since winning the Remington Springboard Mile, highlighting his steady improvement.
