Returning players and promising transfers further bolster the team's roster, making the upcoming season highly anticipated.

Unwavering Fan Support and Exclusive Ticket Access

For the eleventh consecutive year, Texas Tech Baseball has achieved a remarkable milestone by selling out its season tickets. This consistent fan support underscores the team's popularity and success. Single-game tickets for the entire 2025 home schedule will become available on January 21 at 8:30 a.m., with an exclusive window reserved for season ticket holders, Red Raider Club members, and waitlist participants. After this initial phase, tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 27 at the same time. Fans can look forward to a robust 25-game home schedule that kicks off against UC Irvine, a participant in the 2024 NCAA Regionals.

This season promises excitement from the outset, featuring weekend series against top-tier teams such as TCU and Arizona. The home schedule also includes inaugural matchups against Cincinnati and UCF. The team's strong lineup of returning players adds to the anticipation. Among them are standout pitchers Mac Heuer and Parker Hutyra, along with 2024 Big 12 Batting Champion Damian Bravo and Preseason Third Team All-American TJ Pompey. These players were recognized for their exceptional performances in previous seasons, setting high expectations for the coming year.

New Talent and Promising Prospects Join the Roster

The Red Raiders have welcomed several high-impact transfers who are expected to make significant contributions to the team. Infielders Robin Villeneuve and Peyton Schulze bring versatility and experience to the lineup. Villeneuve, originally from Quebec, transferred from Tennessee after previously excelling at Weatherford College, where he was a two-time NJCAA All-America selection. Schulze arrives from Cal, boasting impressive stats over 106 games, including a .289 batting average, 32 doubles, 17 home runs, and 98 RBIs. His performance in 2024 was particularly noteworthy, hitting .323 with 21 doubles, 10 home runs, and 59 RBIs.

The pitching staff has also been strengthened by the addition of Jack Cebert and Lukas Pirko. Both pitchers have shown great promise, with Pirko earning Freshman All-American honors in 2024. He recorded a 5-2 record with a 3.38 ERA, striking out 76 batters while walking only 22 in 72.2 innings pitched. Cebert, who spent three seasons at USF, brings valuable experience and consistency to the mound. Over 46 appearances and 26 starts, he maintained a commendable strikeout-to-walk ratio of 2.6, walking just 49 batters in over 150 innings of work. The combination of these new talents and returning stars sets the stage for an exciting 2025 season.
