The Citadel baseball program is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season. Head coach Russell Triplett has unveiled a schedule that features a whopping 34 home contests at Joseph P. Riley Park. This provides ample opportunity for fans to come out and support the Bulldogs.

February: Kicking Off the Season
The Bulldogs kick off their 2025 season in February with a home opener against UIC on Friday, February 14. This is followed by intense matchups against Miami (Ohio) on February 15 and 16, and a final game against UIC on February 17. The month concludes with a three-game weekend series against Maine from February 21 to 23 and a game against Presbyterian on February 25. Closing out the month, they face Yale in another home series from February 28 to March 2. These early games set the tone for what promises to be a memorable season.In the second half of February, the Bulldogs are focused on building momentum. The games against different opponents help them fine-tune their skills and strategies. Each game is a chance for the team to grow and improve.March: A Busy Month of Matchups
March brings a series of exciting matchups. The Bulldogs host South Carolina at home on March 5, marking an important home game. They then welcome Northwestern for a four-game series from March 7 to 9, which will test their abilities against a strong opponent. After a quick road trip to Presbyterian on March 11, they return home to play Charleston Southern on March 12. A series against Kennesaw State follows from March 14 to 16, adding to the team's challenging schedule. The Bulldogs then head to Clemson for back-to-back road games on March 18 and 19, facing a tough opponent in their away games. They return home to host Mercer from March 21 to 23, followed by a game against the College of Charleston on March 25. The month concludes with a series against Wofford from March 28 to 30, providing a great opportunity for the team to showcase their skills.March is a crucial month for the Bulldogs as they face a variety of opponents and test their mettle. The games help them prepare for the challenges ahead and build their confidence.April: Road Trips and Home Games
In April, the Bulldogs begin with a road game at Winthrop on April 2, getting a taste of away competition. This is followed by a four-game away series at Western Michigan from April 4 to 6, a challenging stretch that will test their resilience. Another road series awaits them at Samford from April 11 to 13, adding to their travel and playing time. After a single away game at South Carolina on April 15, they return home to play Charleston Southern on April 22 and face VMI in a three-game series from April 25 to 27. These home games give the fans a chance to see the Bulldogs in action and cheer them on.April is a month of diverse experiences for the Bulldogs as they travel and play at different venues. May is the final month of the regular season. It opens with an away series against UNCG from May 2 to 4, setting the stage for the final push. The team will travel to the College of Charleston on May 6 and host Winthrop on May 7. They will then head to Western Carolina for a weekend series from May 9 to 11, facing another tough opponent. After an away game at Charleston Southern on May 13, the Bulldogs' last home series will be against ETSU from May 15 to 17. These final games are crucial as they determine the team's standing in the regular season.May is a month of intense competition as the Bulldogs fight to finish the regular season strong.
