His Impact at Florida Memorial University
During his time at Florida Memorial University, Burgos left a lasting mark. He transformed the baseball program into one of the best among historically Black colleges and universities. The team became highly competitive in The Sun Conference, known as one of the toughest baseball conferences in the NAIA. His leadership and coaching skills played a crucial role in this transformation.
