Baseball Leagues and Evaluations

The upcoming baseball season promises a thrilling lineup of activities tailored to various age groups. For the youngest participants, the Pre-K league will engage in T-ball, while kindergarten players will enjoy coach pitch games at the High School facility. First and second graders will also participate in coach pitch matches, setting the stage for more advanced player-pitch leagues for older children.Evaluations play a crucial role in ensuring fair team placements. These assessments are mandatory for first graders who did not participate in fall 2024 baseball and elementary-aged players (first through fourth grade) who missed MBA baseball last spring. Additionally, third graders aspiring to pitch must attend evaluations scheduled for January 20. Evaluation details, including times and field locations, will be communicated closer to the date. Parents can expect team assignments to be announced via the website or coaches toward the end of January or early February.

Practice and Game Schedules

Preparation for the season begins with practice sessions, which kick off for some teams on February 10. Pre-K and kindergarten teams might start a week later, allowing for a gradual transition into the competitive season. Games for grades 1-6 commence on March 1, with potential earlier starts for fifth and sixth graders. The first games for Pre-K and kindergarten players are tentatively set for March 8. Ensuring consistent participation in practices and games is essential for all players, reinforcing the values of commitment and teamwork.
