The Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team has released its highly anticipated 40-game schedule for the 2025 season. Under the leadership of 14th-year head coach Kristaps Aldins, the Ducks will play 21 games at their home field, Dobbelaar Field. The season promises to be challenging as the team faces six teams that participated in the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament, including two recent national champions. Key matchups and invitational events highlight a calendar filled with both local rivalries and distant travel opportunities.

The Ducks will kick off the new year on Super Bowl Sunday, February 9, welcoming Rutgers-Newark to Dobbelaar Field. This marks the third consecutive year they have started the season at home. Following this, the team will embark on a series of matches against formidable opponents, beginning with William Paterson and culminating in the Matt Kurkjian ALS Awareness Invitational in Washington D.C., where they will face three tournament teams from the previous year. March brings a mix of home games and road trips, including a doubleheader with Coast Guard and a midweek game in Mississippi against Belhaven.

In April, the Ducks will engage in crucial conference play, starting with a rematch of last year’s MAC Freedom Tournament semifinals against Arcadia. Highlights include hosting Eastern Connecticut State, the 2022 national champion, under the lights on April 7. The regular season concludes with a series against reigning national champion Misericordia and a home-and-home set with St. Joseph’s (L.I.), the three-time Skyline Conference champions. Postseason play begins May 2-3 with the MAC Freedom semifinal series, leading into the determination of the conference champion and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
