Texas A&M Athletics has been making waves with the impressive performances of its players after the fall season. Four Aggies have earned a ranking in the ITA’s Top 125, led by the reigning Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Player of the Year, Mary Stoiana, who holds the No. 4 spot in singles.

Nicole Khirin
Nicole Khirin secured the No. 15 spot in the singles rankings, making Texas A&M one of only two teams in the nation with multiple players in the top 15. She concluded the fall season at the NCAA Singles Championship quarterfinals, earning herself NCAA All-America honors. With a 10-2 record and six wins over ranked opponents, she enters the regular season in great form.Mary Stoiana
Mary Stoiana finished her fall campaign with an 8-2 ledger and claimed seven ranked wins. She made it to the NCAA Singles round of 16 for the second-straight season and even earned her first professional circuit singles title at the ITF W75 – Edmond Open. Additionally, she played a crucial role in helping Team USA claim its fifth-consecutive Master’U BNP Paribas Title.Daria Smetannikov
Daria Smetannikov made her way back into the ITA Top 125 after not having a ranking at the start of the fall campaign. She made her first appearance at the NCAA Singles Championships and ended the fall season with a 13-5 record in singles, including one ranked win.Lexington Reed
Freshman Lexington Reed made her college debut in the H-E-B invitational and picked up two singles wins. She also qualified for her first ever main draw of a 100k pro tournament at the W100 Tyler, winning three matches in the process.The Maroon & White are all set to start the regular season at the Hawaii Invitational on Jan. 8, looking to continue their success.
