The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance's Holiday Giving Campaign holds great significance. It aims to make a profound impact on the lives of retired racehorses by providing them with the care and futures they rightfully deserve. Accredited aftercare organizations have been making a lasting difference, and this campaign serves as a platform to amplify their efforts. Last year's campaign was a resounding success, raising over $200,000, which directly benefited these organizations. Each donation made during this season of giving contributes to the essential work of 83 accredited organizations across the nation. Daily Match Sponsors and Announcements
Throughout the campaign, Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance will be announcing new daily match sponsors. These sponsors are some of the most prominent names in horseracing and will match all donations up to a specified amount for their respective days. The announcements will be made daily in various industry publications, on the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance website, through social media platforms, and via email. This provides an excellent opportunity for horse enthusiasts to stay updated and actively participate in the campaign.Dan Piazza highlights the reason for supporting the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance during this holiday season and beyond. Participation and Donation Details
Starting from December 1, individuals interested in participating in the Holiday Giving Campaign to support accredited aftercare efforts can visit the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance's website. Here, they can make a generous donation and contribute to the cause. Additionally, during the period from December 1 to December 31, donations of $50 or more will receive a free calendar while supplies last. This serves as an added incentive for people to get involved and show their support.Director of Fundraising & Events Emily Dresen expresses gratitude for the support received during previous Holiday Giving Campaigns and looks forward to building on the growth. She says, "We are so grateful for the support we’ve received during our Holiday Giving Campaigns and are excited to build on the growth we see each year to raise even more funds for our accredited organizations and the Thoroughbreds they care for. It’s inspiring to witness the collective effort from our industry to support our equine athletes during this season of giving."

It accredits, inspects, and awards grants to approved aftercare organizations to retrain, retire, and rehome Thoroughbreds using industry-wide funding.
