The Red Knights answered with Margie Barton connecting from the wing, and LaFargeville regained a 1-point lead. Emeline Barton led the way with an impressive 45 points, and LaFargeville ultimately beat Sackets Harbor with a final score of 78-25.
Another girls Frontier League contest is in Carthage where the Comets are hosting South Jeff. In the first quarter, Kaelyn Quinn grabbed the board and scored, giving the Spartans a 2-point lead. Julia Janz then laid in 2 on the break, increasing the Spartan's lead to 4. Carthage answered with Bailey Connelly finishing after a turnover, but they were down by 2 again. Janz scored 2 more at the other end, but South Jeff held on to win 43-37.
In Chaumont, Lyme is hosting IHC. In the first quarter, Samuel Timmerman banked home 2, giving Lyme a 2-point lead. Then Coopper Kaplan showed great strength between 2 defenders and scored, making Lyme's lead 5. Bryten Dunham finished the fast break and Lyme was on top by 8. Beltran Alcantara stopped and popped for IHC, but the Cavaliers fell to Lyme with a final score of 57-34.
In Madrid Waddington, Lisbon is hosting. Tanner Fonda dribbled through to the hoop for Lisbon's opening bucket. Copper Rutherford went to the glass and Ian Quinlan cleaned up the rebound, giving Lisbon a 6-0 lead. Jakob Mayette with a floater in the middle got the jackets on the board. Jameson Zisek tossed down the three-ball, bringing the jackets within 3. Logan Morrow with a slash and dish to Caleb Ghize for three, and he scored 12 for the Knights. Rutherford dropped in the putback for his game-best 29 points. Kolby Todd answered with a three-ball for the Jackets. Ghize drained another three-ball. Lisbon won the tournament championship, beating host Madrid-Waddington 65-38.
In the consolation game, Morristown faced Salmon River. Caleb Butler dished to Landon Morrow for the opening bucket, giving Morristown a 2-0 lead. Sawyer Belile rocketed to the hoop on a steal and scored. On the give-n-go, Morrow splashed a three, making Morristown up 7. The kick out to Logan Oakes for three points put the Shamrocks on the board. Reardon in the paint for the jumper brought the Shamrocks within 6. Quenten Phillips scored a deuce. Long distance to Colton Brooks for the bucket. Morristown went on to defeat Salmon River 56-42.
