The 5-year-old gelding showed exceptional skill as it set fractions of 25.02, 49.48, 1:13.99, and 1:38.27 on its way to a 5 1/4-length triumph over four rivals. Tim Thornton rode to a winning time of 1:50.93 for the 1 1/16 miles on the fast main track. It was a dominant performance that left the crowd in awe.This victory was not just a one-off event.
