Recognizing the increased interest, she sprang into action, creating teams for players of various skill levels and schedules. Her first initiative, the 2023 Summer Combo team, was a resounding success, providing ample match play opportunities for every player.Inspired by the summer team's triumph, Merriman continued to build on her momentum, establishing two winter and two spring teams. Her tireless efforts resulted in an impressive achievement – over 32 registered 2.5-level USTA players at ABCC within just one year. This remarkable growth speaks volumes about Merriman's unwavering commitment to expanding the game and creating a thriving tennis community.
