Collin Bland, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound first baseman, announced his commitment to Vanderbilt on Thursday, just a day after the Commodores secured a pledge from Ravenwood High School's Michael Holt. Bland, a member of the class of 2026, was one of three sophomores on Houston High School's varsity team in 2024, where he made a significant impact.During the 2024 season, Bland showcased his offensive prowess, hitting an impressive .386 with 10 doubles, five triples, and six home runs. His performance has earned him recognition, with Perfect Game ranking him as the No. 442 player in the class of 2026.
