Aden Tagaloa-Nelson, a sophomore defensive back for West Virginia University, is transitioning from the football field to the basketball court as the football season concludes. Throughout the football season, he stayed in touch with Eilert, eventually expressing interest in joining the basketball team once football concluded. Basketball Contributions and Football Performance

Last season, Tagaloa-Nelson made two appearances for the basketball team, totaling six minutes of playtime against Cincinnati and Texas. Although he did not record any stats, his presence was appreciated by the team. On the football side, Tagaloa-Nelson participated in five games this season, contributing mainly through special teams plays with three tackles.

Tagaloa-Nelson’s ability to balance both sports showcases his versatility and dedication.
