The Baylor men’s tennis program has consistently been a powerhouse in collegiate sports. Last year, the team achieved an outstanding 18-12 win-loss record, showcasing their skill and determination. Among their notable victories was a resounding 4-0 sweep against the highly ranked USC. This triumph underscored the team's ability to perform under pressure and solidified their reputation as a formidable competitor. The Bears' success also extended to the NCAA College Station Regional, marking their 26th consecutive NCAA tournament bid—a testament to their enduring excellence.The team’s prowess is further highlighted by individual achievements. Marko Miladinovic led the charge with an impressive 22-9 record, including a commendable 12-5 in dual matches. His leadership and consistency were instrumental in driving the team forward. Devin Badenhorst, a standout freshman, also made significant contributions with a 14-6 record in dual matches, particularly excelling on Court 3 where he posted a 10-6 record. His performance against nationally ranked opponents, with a 3-3 record, showcased his potential as a future star.

The fall season saw several Baylor players rise through the ranks in the ITA individual singles rankings. Devin Badenhorst secured a spot at No. 25, while Zsombor Velcz and Oskar Brostrom Poulsen claimed positions at No. 54 and No. 58, respectively. In doubles play, the pairing of Miladinovic and Brostrom Poulsen reached an impressive No. 3 ranking, demonstrating their synergy and dominance on the court. Head coach Michael Woodson has bolstered the roster with the addition of Alexandru Chrita, a graduate transfer from Romania. Chrita brings valuable experience and a wealth of professional accomplishments. He boasts a career-high ATP singles world ranking of 723 and a doubles ranking of 777. Chrita’s accolades include two ITF singles finals, one ITF doubles title, and three ITF doubles finals.
