DeKalb is set to welcome a new addition to its vibrant community with the arrival of Redemption Vault, a specialty store focused on collectibles and celebrity events. This venture, spearheaded by local resident Josh Krenkel along with his partners Lewis Arboleda and Skyler Ford, aims to bring an exciting array of merchandise and experiences to the city. The trio already operates a successful Redemption Vault in Palos Heights, and they believe that DeKalb presents an ideal location for their next venture.
The new establishment will be situated in DeKalb Market Square, adjacent to Little Caesars Pizza, occupying approximately 2,400 square feet of space. While renovations are currently underway, the team anticipates opening the doors by late March. The store will feature a wide selection of popular items such as Funko Pops, Pokémon trading cards, video games, and much more. According to Krenkel, the response from the DeKalb community has been overwhelmingly positive, with many residents expressing excitement about the upcoming attraction.
What sets Redemption Vault apart is its commitment to hosting celebrity signings, providing fans with unique opportunities to meet notable figures. Past events have included appearances by WWE legends and actors from blockbuster film series. The founders aim to expand their reach beyond DeKalb, with plans to open additional locations in strategic areas, ensuring more people can enjoy these exclusive encounters. By fostering connections between fans and celebrities, Redemption Vault not only enriches local communities but also promotes cultural engagement and shared enthusiasm among enthusiasts.
