Honoring the Seniors
On Wednesday, April 9, a special moment awaits as the team hosts Presbyterian for Senior Day at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex. This day holds great significance for the program and its senior student-athletes who have poured their hearts and souls into CSU Women's Tennis throughout their careers. It is a time to celebrate their achievements and contributions.Non-Conference Matches
The team will be in action against a variety of non-conference opponents throughout the season. On Saturday, January 25, they take on Lees-McRae at 1:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 26, they face University of North Florida also at 1:00 p.m. These matches will provide valuable experience and test the team's skills against different opponents.Later in the month, on Sunday, February 2, they travel to Charlotte for a match with the opponent's time yet to be determined. On Monday, February 3, they are off to Queens University for another match with the time also TBA. These away matches will give the team a chance to showcase their abilities in different venues.
Big South Conference Matches
As the season progresses, the Buccaneers will face tough opponents from the Big South Conference. On Saturday, February 8, they host South Carolina State at 12:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 15, they travel to Wofford for a 1:00 p.m. match. These conference matches will be crucial in determining their standing in the league.They also have matches against College of Charleston on Wednesday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m., Coastal Carolina on Thursday, February 20, at 1:00 p.m., Miami on Friday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m., Kennesaw State on Saturday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m., Gardner-Webb on Monday, March 10, at 1:00 p.m., Samford on Thursday, March 13, at 12:00 p.m., Belmont on Friday, March 14, at 12:00 p.m., and VCU on Saturday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. These matches will keep the team on their toes and help them prepare for the conference tournament.
Conference Tournament
The season will reach its climax with the 2024 Big South Conference Tournament from April 16-18 in Lexington, South Carolina. The top teams from the conference will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
