Darragh Glavin Announces 2025 Wichita State Men's Tennis Schedule
2024-12-13
Wichita State head men's tennis coach Darragh Glavin has officially finalized and announced his team's 2025 dual match season. This upcoming season holds great promise and challenges for the Shockers. With a schedule featuring 22 dual matches and 12 against opponents ranked in the final ITA top 75 poll last year, it's clear that the team is in for a tough ride.

Coach's Perspective

"For us to get better and develop, we have to be challenged, and this year's schedule is built to do that," said Glavin. After a disappointing, injury-plagued year last season, he is looking for his group to rebound and succeed against this challenging schedule. He believes that this year, the team has a lot of depth and options in the lineup, which they haven't had in years past. The coaching staff anticipates a much-improved team in 2025, expecting them to rise and compete against greater competition that leads to success in the postseason. "Our goals are and will always be to compete for championships. We want to ensure we continue to grow and develop each day," added Glavin.
