The Panthers come into this game after their third win of the season, a convincing 82-60 victory over Yale at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

Key Players and Their Performances

Junior Angena Belloso led the way with eight points in the first 10 minutes and ended the match with 16 points, shooting 2-3 from beyond the arc. It was her second double-digit performance in a row. Aaliyah Pitts led the Panthers with seven points during a 14-0 run in the third quarter and ended the game with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.Sophomore Fantasia James was crucial in the fourth quarter, scoring all eight of her points in the final frame. The Mavericks are a dynamic rebounding team, leading the WAC in rebounds per game with 40.63 boards per game on average.Forward Koi Love is second in the WAC in scoring with 16.13 points per game and 6.13 rebounds per game. Her counterpart, Avery Brittingham, leads the conference in rebounds per game with 9.38 and is ninth in scoring with 13.13 points per game.This will be the second time the two programs have faced off since November 26, 1996, and the Mavericks prevailed in the lone matchup, 48-44.
