He was the 2021 Dick Butkus High School Linebacker of the Year and was selected to the Under-Armour All-America Game and All-American Bowl. In his senior season at Unity Reed, he recorded 116 tackles, 20.0 for loss with 6.0 sacks, and two interceptions, leading his team to the second round of the Class 6 state playoffs.
