Iga Swiatek, the renowned tennis star, has been making waves in both the tennis and perfume worlds. Her recent shoutout to perfume house Lancome and her continued involvement in the World Tennis League showcase her diverse interests and achievements.

Partnership with Lancome: A Fragrant Journey

Iga Swiatek recently extended a warm greeting to perfume house Lancome, for which she serves as a brand ambassador. The company, owned by L’Oreal with a net worth exceeding $191 billion (as per macrotrends), has found a perfect match in Swiatek. As a teenager, Swiatek received an Idôle perfume by Lancôme as a gift and was immediately drawn to it. This positive experience led to her becoming a brand ambassador a few years later. "This is huge for me. I'm glad that thanks to this partnership I will be able to celebrate my femininity because as a tennis player, wearing mainly sports clothes, I don't have a lot of opportunities to do so. With Lancôme, we're going to develop a CSR project in Poland that will support women in the job market, too. I'm looking forward to this journey," she added.A video of Swiatek with a perfume of Lancome's was recently shared on social media, where she could be seen spraying the scent before chanting the company's name. The video had "very professional reel, Oscar nomination" written inside it, highlighting the significance of this partnership.

Tennis Achievements in 2024

Swiatek ended the 2024 season with an impressive record of 61 wins out of 70 matches, winning five titles including the French Open and the WTA 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Madrid, and Rome. Her last tournament was the Billie Jean King Cup, where she played a crucial role in helping Poland reach the semifinals. Her consistent performance on the tennis court has solidified her status as one of the top players in the world.

World Tennis League: A Continued Presence

Iga Swiatek is set to make another appearance in the World Tennis League, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 19-24. She will be a part of the Eagles, alongside Stefanos Tsitsipas, Paula Badosa, and Alexander Shevchenko. Swiatek is one of the few players who has been a part of every edition of the exhibition tournament. In 2022, she was with the Kites, and the following year, she represented the Hawks. In 2023, Swiatek had a relatively quieter year in singles, winning just one match by beating Falcons' Elena Rybakina 6-4. However, she did win two doubles fixtures, partnering Hubert Hurkacz in one and Caroline Garcia in the other. Despite the Hawks' less than stellar performance, finishing last in the competition after winning just one out of their three matches, Swiatek's presence added value to the team.
