This role allowed access to various racetracks across the country, further solidifying an unbreakable bond with the equine world.

The next phase of this adventure unfolded as the individual delved deeper into the breeding side of the industry, spending time at Crestwood Farm during the summer of 2017. This experience culminated in a decision to relocate to Lexington, Kentucky, where they interned while completing high school online. Two years later, another pivotal moment arrived with the arrival of Lanse Mitan, an off-track Thoroughbred who became a perfect ambassador for the breed. His calm demeanor and adaptability provided invaluable lessons about patience and trust in the process of retraining racehorses. Unfortunately, not all stories end happily; Barry Lee's tale exemplifies the challenges faced when caring for retired racehorses, ultimately resulting in a difficult yet compassionate choice.

Beyond personal experiences, the connections formed through horses have opened new doors, such as working on the backside of a racetrack under Brooke Baker and Rodolphe Brisset.
