He led the team to three consecutive state championship game appearances from 2015-17 and three in four seasons from 2019-22. The 2022 team, under the direction of quarterback Marcel Reed (now at Texas A&M), went 12-1 but lost 28-27 to McCallie in the DII-AAA state final. In an interview, Coach Euverard shared his reasons for resigning. "I think it was just time," he said. "I love this place. I love my time here. There is incredible here, the support was tremendous. We had some great teams." He also emphasized the impact that the players had on his life. "More than that, we had some kids that have touched my life and made me a better man. I'm just truly grateful for all those guys that came through here and touched my life in a powerful way."Coach Euverard also revealed his plans for the future. He doesn't have definitive plans yet but doesn't rule out continuing to teach or coach. He will also continue to support the Big Red. "I love MBA and I want to support and serve this school," he said. "It's been great to me."In addition, he and his wife have purchased his childhood farm in Rogersville. "It's a small farm," he said. "We want to go there and live. But I don't know (what I'll do next). I want to clear my head and ask the good Lord what direction and what door he wants to open."
