Florida State witnessed a significant development in its football team on Tuesday. Punter Ethan Post committed, while linebacker DeMarco Ward and quarterback Luke Kromenhoek entered the transfer portal. The latter move hints at a potential acquisition through the portal. Women's Volleyball Success

Audrey Koenig, Khori Louis, and Taylor Head from Florida State women's volleyball team all earned AVCA All-Region honors. Koenig and Louis received first-team honors, while Head got honorable mention. Koenig's performance was outstanding, as she capped off her career with 399 kills, the most by a Seminole since 2019. She also had 50 aces, the most since 2009. Her consecutive 10-or-more-kill streak from Sept. 1 to Nov. 24 was a school record, and she ends her career with 1,356 kills, the second most in school history.

Louis also had a remarkable season. She recorded a career-high 349 kills and a hitting percentage of.430, which ranks first in the ACC and eighth in the country. She will finish her career with a.385 hitting percentage, the best in school history. She led the team with 118 blocks and 1.14 blocks per set.

Head had a solid season as well. She was third on the team with 318 kills and was impressive on the defensive side with 334 digs and 57 blocks. She had 12 double doubles, including 10 in her final 17 matches.

Other Athletic Notes

With the winter meetings happening, there has been a focus on prospects on the mound. Tallahassee has been a hotbed of arm talent in recent years, and we can expect to see some former Florida State players moving up through the ranks and into the bigs in the next couple of years.
