Week 15 Fantasy Football Previews

The Rams and 49ers defenses stand out as Top 6 in allowing TD/Drive. If the 49ers play Isaac Guerendo, there's a chance he's okay and can be treated as a high-end RB2 with risk. If Guerendo is out, Patrick Taylor becomes a high-upside/high-risk RB2/3. After Brandon Aiyuk's injury and Brock Purdy's absence in Week 13, Jauan Jennings emerged as WR4 in FPPG with a league-high 34.1 TmTGT%. Deebo Samuel, on the other hand, was WR64 (6.2) and WR40 (18.2%).The Chiefs and Browns game presents an interesting scenario. Since joining the Chiefs, DeAndre Hopkins has never run more than 68.0% of the routes and bounced around in TmTGT%. He's more of a floor option, but his ceiling makes him the Chiefs wideout to start. In Isiah Pacheco's second game back, Kareem Hunt's RBTouch% dropped, making him less of a Flex consideration with Samaje Perine also in the mix. Nick Chubb has topped 62.5% of the Browns rushes just twice in wins. Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore haven't seen a significant usage difference without Cedric Tillman, but their red zone and touchdown opportunities are notable.

The Bengals and Titans game saw Tee Higgins have his first non-double-digit fantasy score since Week 4 and the lowest TmTGT% of the year. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine also had a quiet game, but the Bengals allow a high wide-open rate to outside receivers. The Commanders and Saints game features Jeremy McNichols as a decent deep-league option. With Derek Carr behind center, Marquez Valdes-Scantling was a WR4, but now only Alvin Kamara and Juwan Johnson (maybe) are worth starting. The Ravens and Giants game has the Ravens as a favorable passing game matchup, but Malik Nabers is an injury risk. The Ravens are a nightmare for opposing running backs, making Tyrone Tracy Jr. an RB3. Gambling on Rashod Bateman depends on the matchup. The Cowboys and Panthers game sees Rico Dowdle with nearly 20 touches in the past three games and is RB12 in FPPG. His performance in games with 16+ touches is impressive. The Jets and Jaguars game presents a situation where if Breece Hall plays, he's an RB2 with top 10 upside. Braelon Allen would be an RB3, and Isaiah Davis not far behind. The Jaguars have a high 3-and-Out rate, and the Jets defense has a high forced 3&O%.

Dolphins at Texans

This year's Dolphins offense operates differently from last year. Jaylen Waddle is better against man-heavy defenses but faces a tough matchup against the fifth-heaviest zone team. C.J. Stroud has been more accurate when blitzed but has lower YD/Comp and TD/Att% marks. He was without Nico Collins for much of the year, and defenses taking away Tank Dell has also affected him.

Colts at Broncos

The Broncos blitz the second most, and Anthony Richardson hasn't been great throwing the ball in those situations but has evaded pressure well. Courtland Sutton has been stable as a WR2, with only one game without double-digit fantasy points. The Bills and Lions game brings Keon Coleman back into play as a Hail Mary option. James Cook had his worst fantasy outing in Week 14 but still had 100% of the RB rushes. The risk in this matchup is the Bills' passing strategy. The Steelers and Eagles game has the Eagles with the fourth-highest QBPressure% and the Steelers allowing a high QBPressure%. Russell Wilson is completing only 30.0% of his passes under pressure. George Pickens is unlikely to play, and if he does, he's a gamble. If he's out, Pat Freiermuth gets a modest bump. The Patriots and Cardinals game gives Rhamondre Stevenson a decent floor against the Cardinals' passing game. Marvin Harrison Jr. is more involved against man coverage and has a higher TD/TGT% compared to zone coverage. The Buccaneers and Chargers game sees Quentin Johnston with the 11th-best YPRR against Cover-3 and the Buccaneers using Cover-3 fifth-most. If Bucky Irving plays, he's a must-start. If he's out, Rachaad White is a must-start, and Sean Tucker is a Flex upside gamble.

Packers at Seahawks

If Romeo Doubs returns, Jayden Reed becomes the top Packers wideout followed by Doubs and Christian Watson. The Seahawks defense has improved since midseason. If Kenneth Walker is out, Zach Charbonnet is in the RB1 conversation. If Walker returns, both he and Charbonnet are in the mix like Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.

Bears at Vikings

The Vikings blitz a league-high 26.9%. Caleb Williams is 28th in TD+1D/ATT when blitzed with the second-highest Sack%. DJ Moore and Keenan Allen had big games against the Vikings, but adjustments by DC Brian Flores could change things. The Falcons and Raiders game saw Kirk Cousins look better against a tough matchup. Now he faces the Raiders who run zone less. If Alexander Mattison returns, stay away from the backfield. If he's out, Sincere McCormick is a volume-reliant RB2/3.

Week 15 Sleepers

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins, ATL - We've seen his floor, making him a sleeper.

Running Back

Rico Dowdle, DAL - As mentioned earlier.Justice Hill, BAL - The Giants can't stop running backs and there's a chance for a garbage-time touchdown.

Wide Receiver

Keenan Allen, CHI - If the Bears rebound, he'll be needed.Adam Thielen, CAR - He's a must-start and not a sleeper in the traditional sense.Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI - Inconsistent but the matchup is promising.

Tight End

Jake Ferguson, DAL - Good matchup with six targets against the Bengals.

Fun with Ranks

Nicole and I just finished watching Schitt's Creek in a month. With the offseason coming, we want some great shows to watch. Here are some on our "to-watch" list: Shrinking (S2), Penguin and Silo (S2), Special Ops (S2), Day of the Jackal (maybe, tell us if it's not worth it), Cross (same as Jackal), Skeleton Crew, Dexter: Original Sin, LOTR (S2), Squid Game (S2).
